A summary of fraudulent fights, according to boxers and boxing commissioners:

Aug. 15, 1998: Heavyweight Richard Davis is accused of taking a dive, faking an injury to the testicles, against Tony Velasco and is suspended for one year by the Illinois Boxing Commission.

April 17, 1997: Heavyweight Bill Duncan tanks a bout against Eric ``Butterbean Esch and is suspended indefinitely by the Oklahoma Boxing Commission.

April 30, 1996: Richard Davis quits in the first round of a fight against Butterbean on USA Network. Davis says he could have risen from a knockdown but didn't.

April 22, 1996: Heavyweight Darrell Becker, fighting as Jack Ramsey, takes a first-round dive against Butterbean.

March 19, 1996: Heavyweight James Calvin Baker throws a match against Butterbean on USA. The fight lasts 18 seconds.

Feb. 2, 1996: James Calvin Baker, fighting as a cruiserweight, takes a first-round dive against Iran Barkley. Baker says he tanked three other fights.

Aug. 28, 1995: Heavyweight Andre Smiley takes a first-round dive against Ross Purrity and is suspended by the Missouri Boxing Commission. Smiley says he threw 13 other fights.

Oct. 27, 1988: Heavyweight Tony Fulilangi takes a second-round dive against George Foreman on USA.

Boxer-turned-matchmaker Sonny Barch says he bought at least 10 victories for Florida heavyweight Mitch Sammons from 1989 to 1991.
