March 19, 1996: Heavyweight James Calvin Baker throws a match against Butterbean on USA. The fight lasts 18 seconds. Feb. 2, 1996: James Calvin Baker, fighting as a cruiserweight, takes a first-round dive against Iran Barkley. Baker says he tanked three other fights. Aug. 28, 1995: Heavyweight Andre Smiley takes a first-round dive against Ross Purrity and is suspended by the Missouri Boxing Commission. Smiley says he threw 13 other fights. Oct. 27, 1988: Heavyweight Tony Fulilangi takes a second-round dive against George Foreman on USA.
